Dr. Lisa Larkin is a pioneering force in women's health. She seamlessly blends her expertise in internal medicine with a profound dedication to empowering women through every stage of life. With a robust academic background, Dr. Larkin honed her skills at esteemed institutions such as Yale University and the University of Chicago, where she cultivated a passion for delivering comprehensive care to her patients.
Since embarking on her medical journey in 1991, Dr. Larkin's career has been characterized by a steadfast commitment to excellence. She has traversed both academic and private practice landscapes, leaving an indelible mark in each domain. During her tenure as Associate Professor and Division Director of Midlife Women’s Health and Primary Care at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and later as Director of the UC Health Women’s Center, Dr. Larkin spearheaded innovative initiatives that reshaped the landscape of women's health care.
In 2016, driven by a desire to provide personalized, patient-centric care, Dr. Larkin founded Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati—a groundbreaking multispecialty internal medicine and women’s health practice. Under her visionary leadership, the practice flourished, expanding to three locations and employing a dedicated team of ten providers.
Never one to rest on her laurels, Dr. Larkin's ambitions extended far beyond the confines of Cincinnati. In 2019, she took a bold step forward by founding Ms.Medicine—a trailblazing healthcare organization committed to revolutionizing women's healthcare on a national scale. Through Ms.Medicine, Dr. Larkin has cultivated a network of seventeen women's health providers across eleven locations in eight states, significantly broadening access to specialized care for women across the country.
In addition to her clinical endeavors, Dr. Larkin is a respected leader in the field, actively shaping the future of women's health through her involvement in professional organizations. She serves as President of the Board of Trustees of The Menopause Society and holds esteemed fellowships with the American College of Physicians and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. Dr. Larkin's influence extends beyond clinical practice, as she dedicates her time to educating clinicians nationwide through the Ms.Medicine ProvidHERS education platform.
