This position will support clinical team members with day-to-day patient care operations in a concierge medical practice. We provide more time with patients, a higher level of customer service, and the ability to make a difference in our patients' lives!

We are currently recruiting for MAs or LPNs to assist in our offices. The ideal candidates are experienced medical professionals with a background in primary care, internal medicine, and gynecology. Our clinical staff aids doctors by taking vitals, completing point-of-care tests, administering immunizations, drawing blood, facilitating care outside of the office, compiling and organizing medical records, scheduling patients, assisting with medical procedures, and keeping track of inventory, to name a few. Must have experience or training with Electronic Medical Records, Basic Computer Skills, Venipuncture and Injections! This position may also support our front office by answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling check-in/check-out, and managing membership.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer service skills

  • Accurately gather patient information

  • Ensure patient privacy

  • Securely process patient payments

  • Prepare exam room and equipment

  • Take vital signs

  • Prepare patients for appointments

  • Schedule follow-up appointments

  • Facilitate outgoing patient referrals and testing

  • Enter clinical information into the electronic medical record

  • Venipuncture

  • Injections of vaccines

  • Assist patients to their examination rooms and in other ways as directed by the physician

  • Assist in the care of patients with communicable diseases

  • Assist in medical treatments with documented consent from providers

  • Assist in Gynecologic procedures such as IUD removals, Pap Smears, Women’s Health biopsies, and sterilization of necessary equipment

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:

  • EMR systems: 1 year (Required)

  • Vital signs: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
